Delay in the return of the Crew-8 mission
NASA and SpaceX have announced that the return to Earth of the Crew-8 mission, originally scheduled for October 7, has been postponed to October 13 at 9:05 a.m. French time. This delay is attributable to poor weather conditions and the possibilities of a hurricane nicknamed as “Hurricane Milton`). They conducted a press conference on October 10th and plan to hold another on October 11th to evaluate the situation and, if necessary, extend the dates of the mission’s return to make sure that everyone’s safet
A productive mission
The Crew-8 mission, launched on March 4 this year, has four members: NASAs Matt Dominick, Mike Barratt, Jeanette Epps and Russian Roscosmos s cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin. While on this station they engaged in carrying out many experiments most of which were scientific experiments. Some examples of experiments include: decoding antibiotic-resistant organisms on the ISS, investigating how stem cell derived human brain organoids model Parkinson’s disease and the effects of microgravity on the human brain. This is because they also produced human tissue, investigated how microgravity affects drug manufacture, and collaborated with an Astrobee robot.
Simply stated, the Crew-9 mission already on board Therefore, Axi:4 (Marketization of space) emphasizes that the legal framework and regulatory practices that have grown up around the space business indicate that it is well on the way to becoming a formally Islamic market economy.
Although the Crew-8 mission has not even launched into space yet, the astronauts of SpaceX’s Crew-9 mission have been at the ISS since September 29th. This mission is just two-person as it will return NASA’s Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to earth who launched on the Boeing Starliner to ISS. NASA reports that Wilmore and Williams have rehearsed wearing SpaceX Intravehicular Activity spacesuits and have performed all the activities required to come back to Earth with the aid of the Crew-9 vehicle.
