Waiting for the beta version of One ui 7
During Samsung’s developer conference in early October, the company shared that One UI 7, its new interface that people are looking forward to using, will become a beta version by the end of the year. Again no elaborate information was disclosed on matters regarding. There are reports that this interface that is based on Android 15 can be significantly delayed, its release is expected in January 2025 in parallel with the Galaxy S25. However, one cannot be wrong to expect that the arrival of the beta version is around the corner.
A page dedicated to One UI 7
There’s a One UI 7 page on Samsung’s community site that was recently discovered by Tarun Vats. There is a link to a new beta program page for the Galaxy S24 on this page. Though there may be still no posts on this page, the creation of the new community page most often signals the beginning of the waiting for the beta version. Leaker Ice Universe following Vats’ post suggested that the start of the beta could take another half a month or could be released in mid November.
Reveals about new features
Although, Samsung had provided a glimpse of the UX during the SDC event, there are more new features which are expected to unveiled with the beta. Some more rounded square shapes and menu forms have been noted, as well as new fluid animations for the redesigned settings drop-down, and some of the other modified fundamental OS icons, for instance, the Photographal library app Some deeper leaks unveil several presumptive changes expected from the One UI 7 update, including redescription of the app icons, enhancements to the Circle to Search functionality; stronger parental controls, and several artificial intelligence-based photo editing tools.
How do I access the beta?
The One UI 7 beta offers Samsung owners the opportunity to give feedback to the company. To access it, it seems that you need to own a Galaxy S24, S24 Plus or S24 Ultra. Those interested in the beta will need to download the Samsung Members app, create or log in to a Samsung account and select “Notice – Registration for One UI Beta Program” and then complete the registration form. If Ice Universe’s predictions are correct, the beta could begin in the coming weeks.
